If you are already enrolled in a course but unable to participate, you may use the Registration Tool to cancel your course enrollment within the first week of your course. The Registration Tool can be accessed via the "My Path" navigation:
Students who do not actively participate in the first week of a course by completing one of the activities listed in the University’s attendance policy are automatically cancelled from the course.
Cancellations are not included in your transcript but do count against the Maximum Time Frame (MTF) of 3 years to complete the Program. After successful completion of the MScFE560 Financial Markets course*, you can use a maximum of 2 Cancellations over the duration of the remainder of the MScFE program. If you have already exhausted your Cancellations or need to leave your course after week 1, you may withdraw from your course in weeks 2 and 3. The Registration Tool keeps track of your course Cancellations, Withdrawals, Leaves of Absence (LOA), and more:
*NOTE: If you are currently enrolled in MScFE560 Financial Markets, please be aware that your Cancellations for this course do not count against the Maximum Time Frame (MTF) because you are not considered fully matriculated until you have successfully completed this course and submitted your official transcript. You are granted a maximum of 2 Cancellations for this course.
