Have questions about WQU's process for ID verification? See below for instructions and commonly asked questions related to Veriff.

Written by Kate Porter

Each student enrolling in one of WorldQuant's online graduate certificate or degree programs must have their identification verified throughout the duration of the program.

When will my identification be verified?

ID verification will take place three (3) times throughout the program. You will be prompted by our system each time it is required. Only upload your ID through this prompted system, never upload your ID to the chatbot or send it via email to a member of our team.

  1. Admissions verification

  2. Mid-program verification

  3. Graduation verification

What type of identification will be accepted?

  • Photo ID's must meet the following criteria:

    • ID must be a government issued ID that includes a clear photo.

    • ID documents with Latin characters (e.g. A-Z, a-z). IDs in non-Latin scripts cannot be accepted. (e.g. Cyrillic, Arabic, Chinese)

    • ID documents containing your full date of birth (DOB). IDs without your full day, month and year DOB cannot be accepted.

What happens if I cannot complete the verification?

  1. Admissions verification: You will not be able to proceed with enrollment until verification is completed.

  2. Mid-program verification: You will not be able to pass the course until verification is completed. If when prompted you are not able to complete this, you can close the modal and continue accessing the course, but will need to complete it in order to pass and proceed to the next course.

  3. Graduation verification: You will not be able to pass the course and complete the program until the verification is completed.

What if I cannot meet the ID verification criteria?

Each student enrolled in WQU's certificate and degree programs must meet the criteria. There are no exceptions. Students who cannot meet the criteria will not be able to continue their progress in the program.
