If you need to update or correct your name on your WorldQuant University student profile, follow these guidelines:
1. Eligibility and Requirements
The name you update on your profile must match your government-issued ID.
First Name: If your ID contains multiple first names, we are required to include at least the first one listed.
Surname/Last name: We are required to include your entire Surname/Last name: as it is written on your government issued ID.
2. Submission Process
Submit a request to the WorldQuant University support team via the Help center chatbot to update your name.
Please provide the following information that you would like to have reflected in the system, closely checking spelling and follow the requirements noted above.
First name:
Middle name:
Surname/Last name:
Lab students: Attach a copy of your government ID so we can verify. MScFE students we will use the government ID uploaded in our system to verify.
The support team will make the necessary changes to your profile on your behalf.
3. Post-Update Actions
Once your name has been updated by the support team, you will need to log back into the learning platform to verify the changes.
In certain cases, you may be required to re-sign the Agreement on the platform to reflect the updated name.
