The Lab is 100% free, online, and self-paced. Most students complete Unit 1 in 10–16 weeks at 10–15 hours per week. All projects run on cloud-hosted virtual machines, letting you code alongside lectures and collaborate in forums and live office hours.
The Lab is divided into two units:
Unit 1 (open now): Six projects covering neural networks, PyTorch, and CNNs. Completion earns a digital badge.
Unit 2 (coming soon): Six advanced projects leading to the full Lab certification.
After 90 days of inactivity, your status in the Lab will automatically change to Inactive. To become Active again, simply complete a new task in your current project. If your status remains Inactive for more than 30 days, you will be automatically withdrawn from the Lab.
